摘要：There are various mathematical identities, and each of them is a beautiful scenery in mathematics. In this talk, let’s go together into the mathematical world, and explore and enjoy some beautiful scenery in this wonderful world.

报告人简介：董峰明教授，新加坡南洋理工大学博士生导师，图论领域（特别是图多项式不变量领域）著名专家。1994.4-1997.9新加坡国立大学（National University of Singapore）博士研究生，获博士学位；2000.11-2001.4加拿大滑铁卢大学博士后；2008.1-2008.6英国剑桥大学受邀访问学者(Invited visiting fellow)。主要研究兴趣包括图的着色、图的多项式、支撑树的计数、匹配的计数、匹配覆盖、Parking-function等。目前与他人合作撰写出版专著和大学教材4部，由新加坡世界科学出版公司出版；并应邀撰写了《Handbook on the Tutte polynomials and related topics》手册其中的一章（关于着色多项式的部分），是该书的亚洲区唯一作者。在国际性数学刊物上发表了近100篇学术论文，约60篇发表在Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series A、Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B、Journal of graph Theory、European Journal of Combinatorics、SIAM Journal of Discrete Mathematics等国际组合数学重要学术刊物上。解决了若干公开猜想，其中比较有影响的是牛津大学Dominic Welsh教授提出的关于着色多项式的The Shameful Conjecture.
